وب‌سایت خبری-تحلیلی «آیندگان» که با همکاری گروهی از روزنامه‌نگاران ایرانی در تبعید تاسیس شده و فعالیت می‌کند، تلاش دارد علاوه بر انتشار به موقع و سریع اخبار، با مراجعه به منابع تحلیلی معتبر دنیا، با کمی تأمل، به آنچه در پس هر خبر رخ می‌دهد، بپردازد.

مأموریت ما فراهم‌کردن دسترسی ایرانیان به جریان آزاد اطلاعات و تقویت روزنامه‌نگاری مستقل در شرایطی است که سانسور سیستماتیک در جمهوری اسلامی و محدودیت‌های حکومتی، مانع اصلی اطلاع‌رسانی آزاد در ایران به شمار می‌رود.

علاوه بر تولید گزارش‌ها و مقالات، ترجمه دست اول از رسانه‌های معتبر و موثر جهانی، بخش بزرگی از تولیدات آیندگان را شامل می‌شود.

ما در آیندگان به جریان آزاد اطلاعات، اعتقاد داریم، دقت و سرعت در انتشار اخبار برای ما به یک اندازه اهمیت دارد و مهمتر از آن، اعتماد مخاطب است.

هدف ما انتشار دقیق، سریع و راستی‌آزمایی‌شده‌ی اخبار است.

اولویت ما در آیندگان، آزادی بیان، محیط زیست، حقوق بشر، اقتصاد و روابط سیاسی است که همگی از دریچه «ایران» و سرنوشت «ملت» و «میهن» ما نگریسته می‌شوند.

آیندگان به هیچ گروه سیاسی داخل و خارج کشور وابستگی سازمانی، سیاسی و اقتصادی ندارد، اما تلاش می‌کنیم با اعتقاد به مفاهیم «آزادی بیان» همه نگاه‌ها و صداهای ایرانیان را با بینش و صداقت نویسندگانمان روایت کنیم.

رسانه آیندگان، «فرزند زمانه خویش است»، پس شفاف می‌گوییم که به طور گسترده از دستیاران هوش مصنوعی بهره می‌بریم، اما خبرها، گزارش‌ها و ترجمه‌هایی که با کمک دستیاران هوش مصنوعی تهیه شده‌اند، با نظارت حداکثری سردبیران، نهایی و منتشر می‌شوند.
